McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, Assistant Professor position in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Position Key Accountabilities:

Providing clinical service efforts at Memorial Hermann and Memorial Hermann Community Hospitals (Memorial City, Sugar Land, and Katy) helping to supervise medical care in the Emergency Center.

Working a set number of clinical hours a month and the remaining hours per month will be protected for research, administrative, and educational activities. Clinical reductions will be based on roles in the department and medical school

Participating in the Department's teaching activities including both the medical student and house staff educational programs, didactic conferences, seminars, lectures, and case presentations, as well as your enthusiastic support of our Department's professional activities.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Medical License. Required or preferred board certification/eligibility in American Board of Emergency Medicine.
