Assistant/Associate Professor, Cardiothoracic Imaging - Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging is seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenured Cardiothoracic Imaging faculty position.
The Section of Cardiothoracic Imaging at UTHealth Houston is a high-volume imaging service and is one of the busiest in Houston. The section interprets cardiothoracic radiographs, thoracic CT and cardiovascular CT, and MR exams. Our practice centers include Memorial Hermann TMC Hospital, the busiest Level I Trauma Center in Houston in addition to Harris Health Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital which is part of the Harris Health System. Memorial Hermann TMC Hospital is also a leading center for cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery including heart and lung transplantation, oncology, pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Position Key Accountabilities:

Reading and Interpreting all cardiothoracic radiology

Clinical and research responsibilities

Teaching residents, medical students and fellows.

Interacting with referring physicians
Qualifications
-
MD degree or equivalent
-
Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology

Eligible for licensure in Texas.

Subspecialty fellowship training and experience in Cardiothoracic Imaging.
