McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, Staff Physician position in the Department of Pediatrics Neonatology.

 

The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other services.

 

Position Key Accountabilities:

 

The Staff Physician will provide direct patient care, and diagnose conditions in the newborn after birth, including breathing problems, and infections. Responsibilities will include a contribution to the clinical programs of the Division. Clinical commitment will include no more than 26 weeks in a year of in-patient service including weekends.

 

Qualifications:

 

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License.

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
