The Department of Anesthesiology and Center for Perioperative Medicine (CPM) at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston would like to invite applications for non-tenure instructor and assistant professor faculty positions. Position Key Accountabilities:

 

Responsibilities include developing extramural funding and actively participating in research activities of the CPM. We are particularly interested in applicants with independent funding who are passionate about pursuing translational research in endogenous adaptive responses related to the field of perioperative medicine and critical care including acute lung injury, myocardial or hepatic ischemia, acute kidney injury, and intestinal inflammation.

 

Qualifications:


Qualified individuals should have an MD or Ph.D. degree and at least 4 years of additional research experience. 

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence, discovery, and service, have the potential to be outstanding in their field of expertise, and share an interest in fulfilling the common goals of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
