CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS:


Current LPC License issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.


Proficiency in word processing, and spreadsheet programs, ability to prioritize and multi-task, effective verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work well with others and community organizations to develop collaborations that will benefit veteran students, and basic analytical skills.


MINIMUM EDUCATION:


Master’s degree in counseling, psychology or related field.


MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:


3 years of related experience, experience working with veterans is preferred.  Military veteran with an honorable discharge is preferred. 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.


SECURITY SENSITIVE:  This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215
