MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A doctoral degree in nursing or related field (Ph.D., DrPH) and eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas are required Meet qualifications for the rank of tenure track/tenured Associate Professor/Professor.

Minimum of two years of teaching/mentoring experience in higher education.

Familiarity with academic roles, rules, policies, and procedures.

Record of ongoing scholarship.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Two years of experience in a leadership role in academia and/or research.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Growth mindset with demonstrated professional development goals.

Ability to motivate and support faculty in achieving excellence in teaching roles.

Additional certifications may be required or desired depending on the specialty area (e.g. CRNA, NP-BC).
