McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time, Assistant Professor, non-tenure clinical track faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics-Division of Pediatrics Community and General Pediatrics. The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, clinical service, administrative activities, and other service.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Assistant Professor in Pediatrics Community and General Pediatrics will be expected to contribute clinically to the division, as well as participate in the teaching programs of the division and department. The Assistant Professor will provide direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents in a clinical setting at various locations within Houston, Texas and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Must be MD Board Licensed or board eligible.
