QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctoral degree in nursing or related field (Ph.D., DrPH).
- Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
- Strong clinical background (non-tenure track)
- Funded program of scientific research or show a strong potential for developing one
PREFERRED:
- MSN or related discipline
- Funded post-doctoral fellowship or history of federal funding as a principal investigator.
- Three years of experience as a nurse educator or nurse practitioner in a clinical and/or educational setting (non-tenure track)
CERTIFICATIONS:
Depending upon the specialty area (e.g. CRNA, NP-C).
