Seasonal Hire in Shared Services
Position Summary:
UTHealth Houston is looking for a seasonal hire or an intern who would like to work with our Shared Services area of Information Technology. This group handles billing and invoicing for things like software licenses and computer leases. You will be working with ServiceNow, which is software that helps produce tickets for services requested from employees at the university. You will work part-time (about 19 hours) and pitch in to help with general tasks. This group also bills for services such as cloud usage and telephony. You should be interested in business and finance.
Position Key Accountabilities:
In general, this is simply a clerical position that will help out in a part-time capacity for approximately four to five months.
Minimum Education:
There is no minimum education, but we prefer students or employees who are interested in accounting and finance.
Minimum Experience:
You do not need any specific experience, but it helps if you have worked in any clerical capacity before.
Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
