Preferred Areas of Expertise:
- Skills and experience in Google Workspace for Education (Admin console, support, training and outreach to faculty, students and staff)
- Experience with Canvas Learning Management System, providing support and training
- Knowledge in Accessibility standards. Experience training and developing content that meets compliance/accessibility requirements
- Instructional Design experience – with a focus on adult learning theories
- Experience with Docusign, providing support and training
- Evaluation of existing learning technologies across UTHealth, analyze gaps, suggest improvements to existing technologies, and evaluate/implement new technologies
- Website design
Certification/Skills:
Broad knowledge of current and emerging e-learning technologies.
Understanding of development tools used to build e-learning technologies.
Understanding of technology development, electronic content development, and management practices
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Education or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
