Certification/Skills:

Knowledge of federal affirmative action regulations and methodologies including experience calculating workforce availability, underutilization and adverse impact. Experience with development of federal affirmative action plans.
Proven ability to utilize data derived from queries to develop reports and dashboards, and to interpret data to understand connections between systems to improve data integrity.
Advanced computer/software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel). 
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail skills. 
Compelling oral and written communication skills and proven ability to effectively interact with others in resolving complex issues.
Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships, collaborate with leadership, and functional teams as needed.
Ability to lead projects, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Experience creating regression models/adverse impact studies; utilizing advanced analytic software; Microsoft Access, SPSS, SAS preferred.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Statistics or Information Technology related field. Master’s degree preferred.  Directly related experience can be substituted for education on a 1:1 basis.

 

Minimum Experience:

Five (5) years of human resources or HR consulting experience with a minimum of three (3) years experience directly related to Affirmative Action compliance.  Three (3) years of relevant experience to include: retrieving, analyzing, and reporting EO information, utilizing statistical methods, including adverse impact analyses, cohort, regression analysis, and/or measures of statistical significance for reporting purposes.

 

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.

This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215
