Certification/Skills:
- Experience Administering Google Workspace for Education, with a particular concentration on data security and retention.
- Experience training end-users on Google Workspace for education, and providing technical support and innovative problem solving.
- Broad knowledge of current and emerging e-learning technologies.
- Understanding of development tools used to build e-learning technologies.
- Understanding of technology development, electronic content development, and management practices.
- Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of Canvas or similar e-learning management system, web-based content, relational database or other system software applications within a Higher Education environment.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Education or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Five (5) years of related experience.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
Security Sensitive:
This job class may contain positions that are security sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of Texas Education Code § 51.215
Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
