Certification/Skills:

  • Bilingual – Spanish/English
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Minimum Education:

  • High school degree or equivalent - required
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a human services related field (SOAR certification and/or 1 year of case management experience) - preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • No experience required.
Additional Information:
  • Ideal candidate will posses:
    • Evidence of ongoing training and education in related areas such as mental illness, substance abuse, and/or homelessness
    • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Computer experience, including troubleshooting and problem solving and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and database management 
    • Experience engaging with a diverse population and ability to respond appropriately to crisis situations
    • Possess an interest in social justice and have experience doing advocacy work for underserved populations
    • Familiarity with Social Security Administration’s Blue Book listings

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.


Frequent travel by foot, car or other means appropriate to making contact with population
