Preferred:
Responsible for all billing related functions within billing office such as charge entry, claims processing, and payment collections.
heavy collections follow-up on outstanding balances, Analyze insurance denials for claim corrections and appeals, Prepares and mails statements to patients.
Monitors, reviews, and tracks all correspondence from insurers regarding claims. Respond to all patient inquiries from phone calls.
Maintains all payer updates; changes to insurer’s rules and regulations.
  
Strong knowledgeable preferred in Medical and Dental billing and coding and other related insurance inquires
Strong communication skills (written and verbal), great customer service and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational
ability to prioritize job responsibilities and work under pressure, must be a self-motivated and team player.
 

Certification/Skills:

None

Minimum Education:

Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or finance; or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Minimum Experience:

Two (2) years of related experience.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
