Senior Systems Administrator in Storage and Server Support
Certification/Skills:
This System Administrator will have a focus in systems and server support focusing on enterprise storage services.
You must have the following:
- Experience with managing large enterprise storage services to include backup and restore.
- Experience with Isilon , Pure Storage storage system, DATAIQ, InsightIQ, Varonis Applications.
- Proficiency in architecting, deploying and managing backup solutions either on premise or Backup As A Service.
- Demonstrated experience with security best practices.
- Previous experience with large-scale storage systems design.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed file systems.
Storage Services Administration: Installation, configuration, security of Isilon, Pure Storage.
Organizational Skills: Ability to understand project methodology and project management. Use of Microsoft Teams and M365 tools such as Planner, Visio.
Candidates must have a broad scope of technical capabilities that will enable them to handle all aspects of application management as well as communicate and discuss technical design issues and problem resolution with Application and System Administrators.
Preferred skills include:
- Three years’ experience in management and supporting large scale, enterprise level storage systems.
- Scripting/Programming Technologies: PowerShell, .NET, JavaScript, Python etc.
- Experience with use of monitoring tools: such as Splunk and SolarWinds
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree, training in information technology or related experience in lieu of education
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years of experience in information technology support and systems administration in diverse environments.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
