Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer I/II/III - Ob/Gyn MFM
Certification/Skills:
- ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
- (OBGYN) ARDMS or ARRT - Obstetrics and Gynecology within one (1) year of employment required.
- Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills and competency assessments.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal and team player skills with all levels of the healthcare team and assures delivery of excellent customer service to all patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.
- Adapts to multiple ongoing priorities under supervision including, organizing workflow and actively participating in problem solving.
- Sufficient proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language necessary to perform the essential functions of this job, especially with regard to activities impacting patient or employee safety or security.
- Provide exemplary customer service, ability to effectively communicate with physicians, family members and co-workers in a manner consistent with a customer service focus and application of positive language principles.
Minimum Education:
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) AMA-approved school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) required.
- Associate's Degree required.

Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
